Ranking of the 15 more controversial applications by Bit9

Bit9 company has created a list of the most controversial applications in the field of computer security, and which are, at the same time, used by thousands of users.

Bit9 established certain criteria taken into consideration to create this ranking. To be out of the list, the following requirement must be complied with:

-Software of a high popular level.
-Frequently downloaded.
-Not being or having spyware.
-Having at least a critical vulnerable fault registered by NIST

Many applications highly used to share softwares were rejected for not complying with the before established criteria.

13- Kazaa peer-to-peer client 2.0.2
14- RealPlayer Media Player 10
