This situation, quite extreme, manifests when the person falls under alimentation hysteria, leading to an addictive stage.

The consequences of this healthy food addiction may be:In the case of persons suffering from an ortorexic condition, when they choose fast instead of eating, they generate nutritional deficiencies, hypotension, etc.

The mistaken attitude of only consuming vegetables and fruits, and never preservatives, grease or meet, at this level becomes harmful for organism. The solution for this case would be the complementation with products fulfilling the absent nutritional function.


This condition also produces people’s reluctance to social relationships; this is produced by their fear to go to a restaurant and have a meal or just visiting other people, because they think they are eating ‘impure’ food.

These are the symptoms of an antisocial personality, at the point of being too meticulous to clean the utensils used in the cooking of their food, preferring these were made of wood or pottery.

The ideal treatment is the same used for an average addiction: self-control, always counseled by nutritionists and specialists such as psychologists and psychiatrists.
