It has been recently suggested that the consumption of at least five shares of vegetables and fruits per day helps to reduce chances of getting illnesses, according to their colors and kinds.Image

Research has indicated that in order to help heart, the best vegetables and fruits are the red ones, including yellow, purple, green and white. These foods are very useful for people suffering from diabetes and obesity.

Most of the conditions that cannot be counteracted by vaccines, now  may be counteracted with the ingestion of carrots and tomatoes.

The red colored food is also rich in lycopene, as well as the green one, which is rich in glucosilonates. On the other hand, yellow and orange provide carotene. White and green produce dialile sulfide. Blue and purple colors contribute vitamin C and antocianas.

The best solution for health problems is the varied consumption of vegetables and fruits in their different colors, considering that you are consuming food rich in photochemicals, vitamins, minerals and fiber.

Another important reason to choose vegetables and fruits in our diet is the fact that they have low caloric content and great amount of micronutrients. These components provide a sating effect, as well as energy value.

As we mentioned above, you should not forget to ingest five shares of fruit and vegetables per day.
