Properties of the spices
Many times when cooking, we use the spices; they are our essential allies at the time of adding taste to meals. However we are not always aware of the important properties and benefits of them.Image


There follow some of the most well-known and used spices and its different virtues and faults.

Nutmeg: It is a widespread spice.

Clove: It has a digestive effect, ideal to do away with toothache.

Cinnamon:  Indicated for gastritis y glans. It also has astringent properties.

Cumin: Other millenarian digestive.

Saffron: It controls the menstrual flow and diminishes discomfort. It can be used to prepare pharmacological medicine.

Pepper:  It has diuretic and digestive actions.

Oregano: From ancient times, it has been used as tonic and digestive.

Mustard: It is recommended to improve the state of mind and it also acts as an excellent diuretic.

Curcuma: It is a good digestive.

Vanilla: One of the nicest spice known; it is well known as a stimulant and also pretty used for its excellent scent effect. 

Practically all spices keep the digestive properties except for the chili mild, which has irritant to the colon and intestines.
