Sedentary lifestyle versus physical activity
ImageIt is a fact that as long as a person ages, the practice of physical activities decreases. Doing exercises is good to keep the psychological health and to prevent diseases.

....But it is easier not to move and not to develop any physical activity.

Performing these movements is useful to move your muscles, but when no even a minimum of physical exercise is done, we find ourselves locked into sedentary lifestyle.

A healthy state is the one that allows us to enjoy life and to face every day challenges.

It is essential for the habits related to an active life to be consolidated in the first two decades of our life.

From there on, it will be necessary for adults of any age to reach the necessary means to be able to keep a certain level of daily physical activity.

Up to a 66% of European adults do not reach the recommended 30 minutes of daily physical activity, and 1 out of 4 does not make any activity at all.

Only 30 minutes a day are necessary and they can be divided into periods of physical activity preferably no shorter than 10 minutes each. This can perfectly be done from daily activities (walking at a considerable pace, climbing upstairs, gardening or house chores).
