The relation between our health and the salt

That is why we need the salt because our organism needs the sodium to regulate the blood pressure and volume and to keep fit our muscles and nerves. But it is necessary to be alert of not consuming more than necessary. |  |
Although the salt contributes to very positive aspects, it is highly related to the high blood pressure, the heart diseases or attack.
It is recommended by specialists that any healthy person should not consume more than 1 ¼ small spoonfuls of salt daily.
The sodium is also provided in the medicines, especially those of free sale and those called diet supplement. For this reason, a law was issued which states that on the medicine package it must be specified the content of sodium os such product.
In our meals, the sodium can be found in a natural state and also by adding salt to the food...
So it is very important to reduce the daily quantity of the salt consumption:

2 – If possible, do not add extra salt to your meals.
3 – Choose free vegetables, not canned ones.
4 – In case of frozen vegetables, clean them very well.
5 – Buy peanuts, lentils, peas, broad beans, seeds without salt.
6 – Always choose skim cheese and milk.
7 – Never cook canned food with the liquid contained in the can.
