KT Tunstall and James Blunt, the greatest figures in the Ivor Novello award

| The singers and composers KT Tunstall and James Blunt received the most important prize awarded in this ceremony: “Best Song”, which is extremely satisfactory for any artist. |
James Blunt was awarded this prize for his successful song “You’re beautiful”, which was ranked the top song all around the world, while the young KT Tunstall was the winner for her song “Suddenly I see”.
Apart for this recognition, Damon Albarn and Jaime Hewlett were also awarded the Ivor Novello prize as the “Composer of the Year”; for their prominent work in the virtuous band “Gorillaz”. Coldplay could not unfortunately obtain any prize despite of having being nominated in three categories.
